Project Description
This project is a high-fidelity Medical Virtual Reality (VR) surgical simulation developed using Unity with the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP). It is designed to provide a realistic, hands-on surgical training experience with true-to-life visuals, lighting, and physics-driven interactions. The system enables users to perform medical procedures using natural hand movements, directly interacting with surgical tools, patient anatomy, and medical equipment without relying on traditional controllers.
🖐 Hands-On Interaction System (Core Feature):
The simulation uses advanced hand-tracking technology for natural, intuitive interaction.
• Full finger-level hand tracking
• Natural gestures such as grab, pinch, rotate, and press
• No controller dependency (optional controller fallback supported).
This solution is ideal for medical colleges, hospitals, training institutions, and healthcare organizations seeking safe, repeatable, and immersive surgical training without real-world risk.
Key Features
- Medical Environment Design.
- Photorealistic operation theater (OT) environment.
- Dynamic surgical lighting system.
- Highly reflective medical instruments.
- Real-time shadows and global illumination.
